This 8 day safari takes you on a exploration of the stunning Murchison falls renowned as the world’s most powerful waterfall located in Murchison Falls National Park. During this safari you expect to see a spectacular array of wildlife species both aquatic and non-aquatic such as giraffes, antelopes, lions, leopards, hyenas, Nile crocodiles and hippopotamuses among others. The thrill of this safari peaks as you visit the mountain gorillas tucked away in the canopy of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company representative who will serve as your guide for this 8 day safari. Your guide will lead you into an introductory briefing and prepare you for transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Along the way, you will detour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for the thrilling experience of tracking the white rhino on foot and thereafter you will proceed into the park where you will make another stop to view the magnificent Murchison Falls before proceeding to your lodge.

Once at the lodge, you will check in and settle in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise

On this day, you will rise to an early morning breakfast as you set out for a thrilling game drive to view the incredible wildlife that roam the green plains of Murchison Falls National Park. You will traverse both the wooded savannah and savannah grasslands for an incredibly rewarding encounter with a variety of wildlife species.

Thereafter you will return to your lodge for lunch as you prepare the afternoon boat trip on the Nile River.

After lunch, you will embark on a boat trip to salvage amazing views of wildlife in the Nile river. You’ll expect to see the Nile crocodiles, schools of hippopotamuses, aquatic birds as well as assorted mammals on the river banks quenching their thirst.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park

The third of this safari will see you raise to a convenient breakfast ahead of your transfer to yet another stunning destination.
After breakfast you will check out and set out southwards to Kibale National Park. Once in Kibale national park, you will check into your lodge, refresh and settle in an afternoon rest.

Later in the evening you will head out a brief nature excursion in the nearby community and catch the sunset and thereafter return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early morning breakfast you will embark on a trek through the dense Kibale forest in the company of a ranger guide in search of the majestic chimpanzees. After the trek you will then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National for another series of thrilling experiences.

Once in Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will check in to your pre-booked accommodation and settle in for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Game drive and Boat cruise

This day will start with an early morning breakfast after which you will set out on a game drive to view to amazing wildlife beautifully roaming the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth national park. While on the drive, you will expect to see lions, leopards, kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, hyenas, elephants, buffaloes, endemic birds among other wonderful features.

After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for a lunch break and prepare for an afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga channel.

The boat trip on the Kazinga channel that joins two lakes (L. Edward & L. George) of great significance in the ecosystem of the park will be an undoubtedly rewarding experience for you. You will expect to see numerous schools of hippopotamuses, birds, crocodiles, elephants among other animals.

After the boat trip you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Community tour

The day will start with breakfast and thereafter you will embark on a drive further south of the country to yet another incredible destination i.e. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – the home of the mountain gorillas.

Along the way you will enjoy the scenic views of the incredible landscapes and learn interesting facts about the highland farming conducted by the local communities of the area.

Once in Bwindi, you will check in to your pre-booked accommodation and settle in for dinner and overnight stay.

Main Destination: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Gorillas)

Accommodation: Bakiga Lodge

Day 7: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Bunyonyi

On this day, you will have an early morning breakfast and then set out into the dense jungles of Bwindi, in the company of a ranger guide in search of the majestic mountain gorillas. While on this trek you will learn about the fascinating behaviours and characteristics of the amazing creatures.

After the trek, you will then transfer from Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi where you will check in to a new accommodation and spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing and resting.

Later in the evening, dinner will be served followed by your overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
