A professional English-speaking tour driver-guide will greet you and take you on the journey. Lake Mburo is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah parks, home to 350 bird species and wildlife including zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, waterbuck, hippo, and leopard. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation. If time allows, enjoy a late afternoon game drive; otherwise, relax for the evening.

We’ll start with an early breakfast before heading out for a guided walking safari in Mburo National Park with an armed ranger. Look forward to close encounters with zebras, giraffes, elands, topis, and cape buffaloes, and enjoy the stunning views from the hills overlooking Lake Mburo.
Afterward, we’ll check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for lunch and a short rest before heading out for a game drive. Expect to see herds of buffaloes and elephants, lion prides, elusive leopards, warthogs, and various antelopes. We’ll return to our accommodation for some well-deserved rest.

After breakfast, we’ll begin our chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura Gorge, home to habituated chimpanzees, baboons, monkeys, and various bird species. After a morning of tracking, we’ll return for lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a one-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot wildlife like hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and a variety of birds. After the boat trip, there will be a brief late afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge.
