Day 1: Drive to Kidepo and Afternoon Game Drive
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport for a briefing with your safari guide before
heading to Kidepo Valley National Park via Kampala-Gulu highway. Located in the
northeastern Kaabong district, Kidepo is known for its unique wildlife. Enjoy
stopovers for stretching and lunch in towns like Gulu or Kitgum. Arrive at the park
late at night for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and Karamoja village tour
Start with a morning game drive in Kidepo Valley to see wildlife like lions, leopards,
and elephants including visiting the famous Narus valley where you might spot
buffaloes, giraffes, and possibly lions followed by a visit to the hot springs for
stunning mountain views. After lunch at your lodge and some relaxation, then visit a
Karamajong village nearby. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at a
Lodge or a Camp in Kidepo.
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, you’ll return to Kampala via Gulu or Jinja Express roads, with stops
for stretching and lunch. Expect to arrive in the evening, so avoid scheduling a

departing flight for that day. You'll be dropped off at a hotel of your choice in
Kampala.
