Day 1: Drive to Jinja City from Kampala
The day begins with pick up from your hotel by 6:00 am and have a morning brief
before departure to Jinja. The journey will take approximately 2 hours driving
through the Jinja- Kampala Highway and then drive through the Mabira tropical
rainforest spanning 300 sq. km, situated in the Buikwe district between Lugazi
and Jinja City.
Upon reaching Jinja we cross the new Nile bridge, head to the Source of the Nile
where the boat ride for our first activity of the day.
The boatride takes approximately 1hr and then we proceed to Kira for Bungee
Jump and then later Bujagali for Quadbike. Thereafter proceed to Busowoko
Falls for natural water massage experience.
Following a busy exercise, we proceed to Jinja City where we spend a night.
Day 2: Drive to Kapchorwa from Jinja
After our early breakfast we'll drive to Sipi Falls, overlooking Sironko, and enjoy a
panoramic view of Mount Elgon (4300m); the drive takes approximately 5 hours.

Then we start our hike. You can choose between a short or longer route to the
waterfalls through fruit plantations and villages. One waterfall is perfect for taking
a quick natural shower, and you can even enjoy a cold swim.
The longer version of the hike of approximately five hours (also included, but you
can advise us of your preferences and level of fitness) will allow you to see all
three waterfalls, a cave and the most beautiful scenery, passing through plenty of
villages and fruit and coffee plantations. Whichever hike we choose today, it will
be a beautiful day in paradise. We shall come back to town for (possibly late)
lunch, relax a bit, and go for an insightful coffee tour where you will participate in
the coffee making experience in a nearby village.
Abseiling is one of the activities here where you are suspended on a rope then glide downwards over a 100meter cliff overlooking the waterfalls.
Then we will drive back to our Mbale lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure for Kampala
Have an early breakfast then return to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport,
and this concludes our 3 days tour of Jinja and Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa.
