Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is a premier UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for protecting nearly half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas. Established in 1991 and spanning 321–331
of ancient, steep rainforest, it offers premier gorilla trekking across four sectors (Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga, and Nkuringo).
